Why give?

Giving is an act of worship, it is a way to respond with gratitude to what God has given you, it and it is to propel the mission of the church forward. It should be done freely, generous, and cheerfully. The Bible is clear - those who give should not do so reluctantly or under compulsion. That's why we have chosen not to pass a basket around at our Sunday services. We want your decision to give to be made freely in the context of your relationship with God and as a result of your obedience to Jesus' leading.

Give On Sundays

Cash and cheques made out to "Renew Church" can be given on Sundays in the offering box located in the lobby. On the first Sunday of each month there is an additional giving box out labelled "Benevolent". This monthly offering is an opportunity to give to our benevolence fund which is used to meet urgent and practical needs of those in our church and community.

Give Online

E-transfers and PayPal are our chosen methods for receiving online donations. 
E-transfers are preferred as they do not have any service fee attached to them, while PayPal does deduct a small percentage for using it's service.

E-transfers can be sent to: giving@renew-church.ca

*Important Note: Don't forget the hyphen in "renew-church.ca"! If you do not include the "-", your e-transfer will be automatically deposited at a different church.
Both forms of online giving are secure and PayPal offers the flexibility for you to link your account to a credit card or to your online banking.
