***Important Season Update***

Thank you for your patience as we've been waiting as long as possible to see how many players would register for the season before finalizing the plans. Unfortunately, we do not have enough players to form the teams required to run a typical season... BUT, we don't want to miss the opportunity to be getting together to connect with each other and enjoy the game together! Here's the plan we've come up with to make that happen for Softball 2022;
  • The new start date will be Saturday, May 7 (no games on April 23 or April 30)
  • All Saturdays in May (including the May Long Weekend) will have a pick-up game for everyone 16+ who wants to play. We will form teams with whoever shows up and do our best to have full 7-inning games, umpires, applying the League Rules, etc to keep the livelihood of competition a part of the fun each week.
  • The games on May 7, 14, 21, and 28 will be at 6:00 PM on the Lower Field at North Surrey Community Park.
  • No pre-registration will be required for the games in May and everyone is encouraged to bring friends out for any of the dates.
  • We will ask players who show up on Saturdays throughout May to register for a tournament on Saturday, June 4, and Sunday, June 5. If we have enough players committed to form 3 or more teams, we will organize a 2-day tournament. We will also host a season wrap-up BBQ that weekend.
  • There will be no registration fee. A suggested donation of $20 for those planning to play several games or $5 per game for drop-in players would go towards offsetting the cost of the field rentals, but this is totally optional.


We are really looking forward to this new plan and hope you join us for it! Thanks for your willingness to commit to the league this year...we hope this change in plans will work well for you so we can get out on the field together!

Placement in regular season standings is determined firstly by overall win-loss record compared to other teams.  In the event of equal overall win-loss records, the following order of tie-breakers applies:
- Wins and losses between or among these overall tied teams in head to head games
- Least runs against in head to head games
- Least runs against in overall games
- Coin flip presided over by the commissioner
