Why Does Jesus Matter?

Everyone faces the deep questions of life at some time or another. Why am I here? What is the meaning of life? Is this all there is? Who am I? What happens when I die?

Jesus matters because He offers answers to every one of those questions. He came to give us purpose for living now and settle the question of where we'll spend eternity. He offers us hope, peace, forgiveness, and new beginnings.

Jesus is able to offer forgiveness and eternal life because of his death on the cross and resurrection from the dead. This is called the "gospel", or the good news.
